Volunteer Befriending

Volunteer support is highly valued at Crossroads and we welcome volunteers to help out with a variety of befriending schemes.

If you are a supportive person, who is helpful, caring, with a friendly manner and looking to make a positive influence on another person’s life, then we would love to hear from you!

Working as part of a team, we will support you to develop your skills and confidence.

You may be thinking of a career in care, or you may be someone who has been a carer. We would welcome volunteers from all walks of life, as we value all life experiences.

Communities in Sync Navigators

Our Communities in Sync Navigators are working with a number of people who have recently come out of hospital and those who seem to get repeatedly readmitted back into hospital due to ill health, made worse by loneliness and isolation.

This is where our Volunteer Befriending schemes makes such a difference, so please contact us or call 0121 553 6483 if you would like more information or to get involved
